- Ruchi reported that Namita fell on the
ice outside her house and injured herself. We hope that she
recovers from her fall. Although Namita was unable to attend the
meeting, she did inform Ruchi that she plans to finish work on the
coloring algorithm (for Protex) by 11th February and on the conforming
(master) GUI by 15th February. GET WELL SOON NAMITA!
- The students reported on progress coding
the various applications.
- Ruchi -- GeneX: She has a question
concerning the coloring of exons and introns.
- Pradeep -- VGL: He recommends putting a
JList component inside the history JFrame.
- David -- Protex: He asked Ruchi about
comments she and Namita added to classes FoldingManager and GraphCanvas
in the folding code.
- David asked Ruchi to help him conduct
research on the difference algorithm for computing differences between
two amino
acid (polypeptide) chains (in Protex) or between two DNA
sequences (in GeneX).
- Students ended the meeting after a lively
discussion about job seeking strategies.
