Team members downloaded VGL, Gene-X and Protex to a Mac machine in Professor White's biology lab. Professor White provided an undergraduate student volunteer, who spent about an hour with the MGX team.  She went through each application in turn and performed test drills prepared in advance by Ruchi, Pradeep and David for the alpha versions of VGL, Gene-X and Protex, respectively.
